Aishwarya Ravikumar

Aishwarya has a masters degree in social work with children and families from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai and a bachelor’s degree with triple majors in Psychology, Sociology and English from Christ University, Bangalore.Prior to NITI Aayog- DMEO, Aishwarya has worked with The India Nutrition Initiative ( TINI) as a part of the Swasth Bharat Fellowship Program, which was a joint initiative between Tata Trusts and the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India and IHAT- UP- TSU as a Program Officer- Communication. At TINI- Tata Trusts, she provided managerial and administrative support to the district administration for the efficient roll out of POSHAN Abhiyaan while working on innovative solutions to district specific issues. As a Program Officer- Communication, she provided technical inputs for various SBCC activites for various RMNCH+A behaviour interventions for the state of Uttar Pradesh. Aishwarya's research interests include issues of local governance and rural inequalities, policies and social schmes, public health and nutrition. She is passionate about travelling and reading.
