Expression of Interest for Rapid Evaluation Study – Round IV

About the Initiative

Development Monitoring and Evaluation Office (DMEO), NITI Aayog aims to engage all Universities to undertake rapid assessments of selected Government of India schemes. The initiative seeks to strengthen Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) capacities among students by providing them hands-on exposure to key stages of the evaluation process, including field-level data collection, data analysis, and report writing.

Through this initiative, DMEO also aims to develop a network of universities/institutions across States/UTs to:

  • Strengthen institutional and student capacities in Monitoring and Evaluation across India; and
  • Build and foster a network of universities/institutions at the State level for promoting M&E practices and knowledge exchange.

Central and State Universities interested in participating in the initiative are encouraged to submit their Expression of Interest. The application form should be submitted on behalf of the University by an authorised representative. Applicants are requested to provide the details of the Vice-Chancellor/Registrar’s Office, as sought in the application form.

The last date for submission of application is 25 August 2026.
