Swati has Master in Urban Planning from School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi and Bachelor of Architecture from the National Institute of Technology Raipur.
Swati’s primary interests lie in the fields of sustainable development, local area planning, and community participation. With more than two years of experience in the development sector, she has been involved in implementing the Participatory Budgeting+ (PB+) project in Pune. This project was carried out as part of the India Smart Cities Fellowship Program 2021, by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. Before joining DMEO, Swati has worked with the Urban Strategy Unit of National Institute of Urban Affairs for Urban 20 or U20 city diplomacy initiative of G20 India.
