Vishal has over a decade of experience in research, monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL), and program management in the social sector. He is experienced in designing and strengthening MEL systems and processes across programmes ranging from pilot initiatives to large-scale implementations and has worked across sectors – Health, Education, Agriculture, Financial Inclusion, Inclusive Business, and Social Protection. He specialises in data analysis and research, with extensive experience in results-based financing and management frameworks, programme evaluation, and data systems, drawing on large-scale datasets, including secondary data from national surveys, and applying both qualitative and quantitative research methods to strengthen monitoring processes and programme effectiveness. He has built results frameworks, indicator systems, and data quality assurance mechanisms, and has led analytical work to assess programme performance, identify implementation gaps, and inform course correction. Prior to this, he has worked across nonprofit and development organizations in diverse program contexts.
