Writing Workshop by Institute for Competitiveness

An article writing workshop (two sessions over 2 days) was led by Amit Kapoor, Chairman, Institute for Competitiveness (IFC). Best practices in writing and research as well holistic approaches to becoming a better writer such as reading variety of different genres were discussed. In the first session, there was a focus on writing for newspapers and magazines. After the first workshop, the participants were asked to submit a writing piece/sample in a week's time for which individual feedback was provided. The second session focused more on writing reports and research papers, covering topics such as literature review, building a hypothesis, data analysis, structuring the report, building arguments, action points, etc.
