Dr Asif Asfan Parangodath is a dedicated public health professional with a diverse background in program implementation, health system strengthening, monitoring and evaluation of infectious diseases, and quality and patient safety at public health facilities in India. Previously, he worked as a State Consultant (M&E) for IMEP-2, GFATM, NVBDCP Odisha, TCI Foundation, where he supported in malaria control, developed comprehensive M&E plans, supervised district consultants, and facilitated training activities. His efforts were crucial in addressing critical issues like cross-border malaria and drug resistance. Before that, he worked as a Fellow at the National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC), where he contributed to capacity building, SOP development, and patient safety initiatives. He was instrumental in advancing standards in healthcare quality through various national programs.
